Carla and Jeff were great to work with. The showroom is lovely with many options. Dwayne, the installer, was also wonderful to work with. We had an issue with another contractor accidentally scratching the brand new floors. Dwayne came out and quickly fixed the issue and a few other issues that remained after the install. We are very happy with our experience with Arcata Pro floor! Highly recommend.

We put in 1,500 square feet of laminate. It was a stressful project - choosing, moving stuff out of the rooms, and having installers in the house for a week. Arcata Pro Flooring was very helpful and professional throughout. We are very pleased with the result and recommend them highly. The installers were very cool and easy to have around too!

The people at Arcata Pro Floor are super helpful. Carla was great at helping find the right carpet for my daughter's room, taking into account my daughter's taste and preferences as well as my budget and desire for ease of cleaning. The installers were prompt and the carpet looks great. They made it very easy on us. One caveat. This business is busy because they have a great selection and do a great job. This means you may need to book your job ahead a bit.

I called for an estimate, and Jeff came to the house. I had several ideas floating around, not knowing what I wanted for sure and what my budget was. Jeff measured precisely and gave me estimates for several options. I finally went in to the store to narrow down my options, and Carla was so helpful and friendly! There was no pressure, no sales pitches, just a clear conception of wanting me to be comfortable in what I wanted, and suggestions were flowing! It was great. I knew this was the place to do the job for me, I did not look elsewhere.
Two years had passed, and I was finally ready to do the job. Things changed again, and again, and what did I get, but a smile and an OK to make the changes if that was going to make me happy! And I am very happy and pleased with the floors and carpet installed, as the work is amazing.
I am so happy with their professionalism, but more importantly, they are wonderful, good people. I am planning the next stage of carpet or hardwood upstairs now! If I could give more than 5 Stars, they deserve it!

I recently had carpet installed by Arcata Pro Floor and they were great from beginning to end. I hadn't purchased carpet before and I have kids and pets, so I needed help deciding what would work best. Carla in the showroom did a great job at guiding me, and I'm very happy with the carpet she helped me select. She also worked with me to find install dates that accommodated my needs. The carpet installation went smoothly for the first section and had an issue during the second section. Jeff was very prompt at addressing my issue and took the time to make it right. All in all, I think Arcata Pro Floor has a great selection and is run by very capable and nice people. I would highly recommend buying from them!

One of my favorite businesses from beginnings to endings. The entire team is professional and supportive in what can be a messy and stressful process.
Last job was "small" but complex and included moving plumbing, appliances and a water heater. Nightmare to me, but it all worked out perfectly. And, love the Marmoleum. Feeling spoiled.

I have relied on Arcata Pro Floor for too many years to remember. I remodeled four houses (three in complete disrepair) and APF came in with the final touches of carpet and linoleum and Marmoleum!!! They are responsive and quick...a rare service these days. Great problem-solvers.

For my recent Office expansion, I wanted the new carpet and baseboard to match the existing office. I had samples of both to show the carpet companies, and I had 4 estimates done. Only one of the other carpet stores even communicated with me after the estimate, by mailing me an estimate that was about $300 more than I ended up paying at Arcata Pro Floor. Two of the other carpet stores didn’t even bother getting back to me. Arcata ProFloor was prompt, communicated with me efficiently, worked to get the products I requested, and did a professional job tearing out the old carpet and installing the new carpet at apparently the best price available. I would recommend them for carpeting needs.

The hardest part about re-modeling a bathroom is the floor covering because it’s the unifying factor of the room. The floor coverings determine wall treatment, colors, fixtures, curtains, everything. Given the floor options available today (Arcata ProFloor has everything), and the difficulty of choosing the right product, and add to this the exaggerated fussiness of the customer (me), and you have a situation which makes everybody want to scream. But this never happened (except when I was by myself at home; I admit it, indecision drives me crazy!) The Pro-Floor Crew, whether it was Jeff as experienced room designer and expert about the materials, Carla as cheerful saleswoman who always made great suggestions without being pushy, or Dewayne the installer whose work was just impeccable, my entire experience at Arcata ProFloor was enjoyable and completely successful. I’ll go back there again for my next project (if they let me in the door). I don’t see how you can do better than Arcata ProFloor for service, quality of product, and of course, pricing.
